Dr. Delianides (Dr. D) is a native of Alexandria, VA and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University. He attended the Medical College of Virginia and received his M.D. in 1988. He completed a transitional internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.

In 1992, he finished his residency in Ophthalmology at the renowned Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina. That year, he entered private practice, and in 2000, opened Atlantic Eye Consultants, P.C. Dr. Delianides is the medical director and chief surgeon of the practice.

Dr. D specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He is fully certified in LASIK, PRK and other refractive surgeries for correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Dr. D also performs in-office laser surgery for the treatment of Diabetes and Glaucoma. He has extensive experience in the surgical management of ocular trauma. To date, he has performed thousands of successful microsurgical procedures.

Dr. Delianides is Board-Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, a fellow of the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Virginia Beach Medical Society.
